Privacy policy

Who we are

Ophethe is a software studio based in New Zealand. This policy covers the apps we publish and this website, ophethe.com. "We" and "us" mean Ophethe.

What our apps collect

Nothing, by default. Unless an app's entry below says otherwise, our apps:

• don't collect, store, or share personal information — no name, email address, contacts, location, photos, or advertising identifiers
• don't need an account or sign-in
• contain no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking

What stays on your device

Our apps save things like your progress, scores, and settings using your device's standard storage. That data never leaves your device and we never see it. Deleting an app deletes its data.

Features handled by Apple

Some features are provided by the platform rather than by us:

• Game Center. If an app has leaderboards or achievements and you're signed in to Game Center, your Game Center nickname, scores, and achievements are sent to Apple.
• Sharing. When you choose to share something, such as a daily puzzle result, the app passes it to your device's share sheet. You decide where it goes; the app never sends anything on its own.
• The App Store. Apple handles downloads and purchases, so we never receive your payment details. If you've turned on Share With App Developers in your device's analytics settings, Apple may share crash reports and usage statistics with us in a form that doesn't identify you.

Our apps

Here's what each app does with data. When we release a new app, we add it here before it launches.

Nubrixy

Collects no personal data. Saves your current game, high score, level progress, and sound setting on your device. Uses Apple Game Center for leaderboards and achievements, which is its only network activity. Nubrixy's full privacy policy.

Word Tack

Collects no personal data and works fully offline. Saves your progress, scores and stats, stamps and shop items, settings, and daily puzzle streaks on your device. When you choose to share a daily result, it goes through your device's share sheet. Word Tack's full privacy policy.

This website

ophethe.com doesn't use analytics, advertising, or third-party scripts, and doesn't set its own cookies. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it — it never leaves your device. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect it.

Emailing us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send. We use it only to reply and help with your request, and we don't share it or add you to any mailing list.

Keeping and deleting data

Because our apps don't send us your data, there's nothing on our side to delete — removing an app from your device removes its data. We keep support emails only as long as we need them to help you, and we'll delete them sooner if you ask.

Children

Our apps are made for general audiences. They don't collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. In practice, that's usually just emails you've sent us. We follow New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Changes to this policy

If an app ever needs to handle data differently, we'll update this page — along with that app's own privacy details and its App Store privacy label — before the change ships. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
